MANILA, Philippines — A lone bettor from Leyte won P18.6 million in the Lotto 6/42 draw on Thursday, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) said yesterday.
The bettor bought the ticket with the winning combination 13-11-30-23-21-07 at an outlet along Real street in Barangay San Roque, Tanuan, Leyte.
According to the PCSO, 78 bettors also won P24,000 each for guessing five of the six-digit winning combination and 2,667 others won P800 each for guessing four winning digits.
Lotto winnings of more than P10galactic wins,000 are subject to a 20-percent tax under the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion or TRAIN law.
